The tournament start with an opening ceremony and then takes place in two parts.

Part 1 :

In the first part of the tournament, a small single elimination tournament will be held on each of the 12 servers. The kinships of each server will compete against each other in 3 players teams games.
The first 2 kinships of each server will have the honor to represent their server during the second part of the tournament in 6 players teams games. The 3rd kinship of each server will also be called if needed replacement. Each server will be represented by a team of 9 players at the end of the first part of the tournament.

Part 2 :

The second part of the tournament will be held on a single pre-defined server. All 9 players from each servers must have a character on the server where the part 2 of the tournament will run.

A random draw will take place at the beginning of the second part to define the pools. There will be 4 pools (A, B, C, D) each featuring 3 servers. At the end of the pool phase, one server will be eliminated per pool, based on the number of games won or if there is a tie, based on the number of points.
Each server will play 3 games against the other 2 servers in its group. There will therefore be 9 games per pool and a total of 36 games in the group phase.

(The tournaments follows up will be by single elimination in 3 games)

There will be the quarter-finals :

  1. The 1st from pool A versus the 2nd from pool B
  2. The 1st from pool B versus the 2nd from pool A
  3. The 1st from pool C versus the 2nd from pool D
  4. The 1st from pool D versus the 2nd from pool C

(a total of 12 games for the quarter-finals)

Then the semi-finals :

  1. The #1 winner versus the #3 winner
  2. The #2 winner versus the #4 winner

(a total of 6 games for the semi-finals)

The third-place play-off :

  • The #1 looser versus the #2 looser

(a total of 3 games for the third-place play-off)

The grand finale :

  • The #1 winner versus the #2 winner

(a total of 3 games for the final)

The tournament will then end with the awards and closing ceremonies !
